While this is Jackman’s sixth time playing the character, he finds a new way to play Logan, playing him ready battle-worn and wanting his existence to end. This is a stand alone film where the focus is on the conflicts of the characters and some enjoyable CGI heavy action sequences.
The Beer Lover’s Guide To The Movies pairs this film with Georgetown Brewing’s Roger’s Pilsner. This beer is a darn tasty beer. It has an ABV of 4.9%. It pours golden with a moderate head and has lots of carbonation. It has a light floral scent to it. It tastes very hoppy with some sweetness and spiciness to it, with a touch of bitterness. It is a delicious beer, that like the movie, is a stand alone experience. While the beer is good enough to stand up to being enjoyed by itself, it adds to the film, by giving flavor, structure, and something interesting to think about as you watch this aged warrior fight on.
